WHAT NOW? Wednesdays – Tag, I'm it!
I was tagged yesterday by our own famous RecruiterGuy so I’m having some fun with today’s blog (while taking heed to his warnings). I’m not usually enthused about playing along, but in this case, I appreciate the opportunity to share and learn more about other bloggers out there.
So here are the rules:
• Link your original tagger(s), and list these rules on your blog.
• Share seven facts about yourself in the post - some random, some weird.
• Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names and the links to their blogs.
• Let them know they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blogs and/or twitter.
I don’t know if you’ll find my 7 facts random or weird, but here’s a chance to get to know me a little:
• My life began in Boise, Idaho - the only one in my family not born in Colorado, I was labeled “the Spud.”
• My parents grew up on ranches and I have rounded up cattle on horseback – YEEHA!
• I was tall before I was short, reaching my peak at age 12. At just over 5 feet, I gradually shifted from basketball and volleyball teams to dance and cheerleading (top of the pyramid, of course).
• Although I never had the desire to run one, I picked up the nickname “Marathon” as a freshman in college. I used to run with athletes 2 to 3 times a day to burn off energy and avoid studying. I made some great friends but it did not reflect well on my GPA…
• I started my career in DC, then tried out Atlanta before moving to Denver for grad school. I landed a good job in Atlanta, got married a year later and never left Georgia (fell in love with hubby and the lake).
• If I could pick anywhere to live, I would choose right where I am.
• You may already have picked up on this, but I am somewhat of a “newbie” to social media and blogging. I have a lot to learn but love that I’m learning something new everyday.
