Hoff Moved to Ning... Shouldn't You?

News hit recently that the Hoff (that's David Hasselhoff to you rookies) decided it was time to give his online network and image a bit of a face lift. Apparently he wasn't satisfied with the limitations that his previous online network and Online home of choice (MySpace) presented to his numerous fans and members. Enter: Ning Hoffspace.

Readers, we are suddenly presented with another great example showcasing the flexibility of the Ning platform combined with someone's desire to have more control over their content and how their friends and/or members interact. Leaving the insanely complicated manner in which a MySpace page gets customized aside, the Hoffster may strike gold with his new platform. After all, he's already rapidly approaching 13,000 members that have followed him to his new portal - a portal that's also automatically networked to over hundreds of thousands of other networks by design.

So as people are migrating away from networks like MySpace where flexibility is limited, and LinkedIn where EULAs begin to become stifling, will we see more quick communities rocket off the charts? Ning continues to be a smart investment at this point. To that same point, there are even several networks already dedicated to supporting other Ning networks within the Ning network.
