Universal Orlando Resort

Just returned from a three day vacation to Universal Orlando Resort. I took three of the kids with me and I can honestly say that we had a great time. What I love about that place is that there is something for everyone to do. Does not matter how young or old you are, you can find something to be entertained with. You can go on different kinds of rides, eat, shop, drink, go to the movies, dance, etc.

Universal Orlando Resort is divided in two distinct and separate parks: Islands of adventures and Universal Studios. Islands of Adventures is composed of five “islands” each with a different theme focusing on cartoon and comic book superheroes as well as myths and legends. Islands of Adventure will soon host the “Wizarding world of Harry Potter” (coming in 2009). Universal Studios is based on movies and TV shows. It also hosts real film and TV studios where you can go behind the scenes and right into the action – so to speak.

In addition to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios, there is also Universal Citywalk which is a great entertainment spot where you can find shops, boutiques, restaurants, live entertainment, nightclubs and more.

What can I say about this trip: I LOVED IT :-) and I’m looking forward to our next outing there. Highly recommended it.

I'd love to go to Universal on my next vacation to Florida - I've hit the other amusement parks and attractions - maybe I've saved the best for last, eh?
