Are YOU In A State Of Choice OR Chance?
Greetings all!
Here's hoping you are having a wonderful and productive day so far.
As I take a brief step back to reflect on my day so far and what lies ahead, I savor the thoughts and feelings I have of sincere appreciation of being in my skin and career. Although I am in an industry which is consistently evolving, lately (since the merger), we have been experiencing extraordinary changes.
If there's one thing I am certain in life, it is to know and accept change as an inevitable part of life. In order to evolve (whether on an upward or God forbid downward direction), change always plays a major role, otherwise, we cease to exist, and I'm not sure about you, but I am grateful to be here with my company AND above ground! (smile)
Question To Ponder:
Do you agree with me and share the same sentiments I conveyed above? If yes-awesome! You're on the right track!
If no, then let me take this opportunity to remind you that you have choices and resources to help you get to your desired status of true happiness in life and career.
As you may interpret by now, I am thoroughly happy in a career with an awesome company and a part of a superb team led by wonderful leaders. Even though there are many other options I could consider, I could not fathom any that tops the corporation and team I am currently privileged to be associated. Although some of us here at AT&T will be migrating to report to new leaders, my colleagues and I who are in the same boat of this change would agree that we will still follow our current leaders and continue to view them as if we were still officially under their leadership. This is a great example of a true leader-one in which people will follow even if there's no official title.
In summation and my opinion, the position you are in life and career at this very moment is 95% a result of your choice and only 5% beyond your control. Some of you may disagree and believe the percentages in your personal case to be reversed; however, I disagree. Along the way towards your current state, you had choices and made them accordingly to equate 95% being of your choosing. Now where you go from here is still up to you-your choice.

Are you sincerely happy in your current position in life and career by choice?
If not, the good news---YOU HAVE CHOICES!
