I'm an administrative assistant, legal assistant, executive assistant, office mananger, contract coordinator.....YEAH THAT'S RIGHT...I'VE DONE IT ALL! I've made my living thus far....only accepting short-term, long term temp assignments. I never had the desire to want to be somewhere TOO LONG...until about 5 months ago. I am a new mommy and I'm now ready for stability. I want to be an actual employee now, but since I've been doing the temp thing for sooo long, employers look at that as a minus, and no matter how advanced my skills are, my tenure or the lack there of seems to matter so much more. IT SUCKS!
I do contract cable installation and wiring in Florida. I really like it but would like to get with a bigger company or maybe start my own business.
I'm open to anyone that wants to talk to me about opportunities in Florida or Southern GA. Until then I will just poke around here and see if I can find some of my favorite funny youtube vids.
Oh and I've a friend that may be out of a job soon so if anyone knows where I could send a 6 year prison guard veteran give me a shout. If I can figure out how to send an invitation to him I will.
I am a Universal Home Service Technician for COX Communications. Basically, all that means is, I install, cable, internet and telephone services.
I have been in the cable tv industry for about 5 years now including school. I have a C-Tech certification where I learned to terminate and splice, CAT 5, coax, and fiber.
COX has been where I've been wanting to work, but recently I heard about other possible opportunities with a big company (competitor) and looking possibly at a change.
